Children from year 5 will be visiting Kingswood, Colomendy for a weeks Residential Trip from 26th March to 30th March. They will take part in lots of exciting activities as well as undertaking some field work as part of the curriculum. There will be a meeting for Parents nearer the time to let you have further information and details about this trip.
Our next Parents’ Evening will be held on Thursday 15th March. This is an opportunity for parents to meet their child’s teacher, look at their work and discuss their progress. An invitation letter will be sent out nearer the time when you will be able to select a suitable time.
As part of the Widening Opportunities Scheme all children from Year 4 have been invited to attend a special concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. They will leave school after registration and will be back in time for lunch. All children must wear school uniform, sensible shoes and bring a coat. This trip is being heavily subsidized so we ask for only £2.00 per child towards the costs. Please make sure you return the permission slip.
We have arranged for children in year 6 to visit the Philharmonic Hall to enjoy a concert entitled Trading Places. Children will leave after registration and be back in time for lunch. All children should wear uniform, sensible shoes and bring a coat.
We have arranged for children in Year 3 to visit the Maritime Museum on Tuesday 6th March to take part in an exciting workshop Pirates Ahoy! The children will leave after lunch and should be back about 3.30 p.m. Children should wear school uniform, sensible shoes and bring a coat.
We have arranged for Reception Children to visit the brand new Museum of Liverpool to take part in an exciting Project looking at Toys. The children will leave school after registration and will be back in time for lunch. Children should wear school uniform, sensible shoes and bring a coat. We would ask for £1.00 donation towards the cost of this subsidised trip.
We have arranged for all children to enjoy cooking sessions with the Junior Chef Academy. They will have an opportunity of watching demonstrations and joining in.
We are delighted to let you know that we have arranged for children in Year 2 to visit the Maritime Museum to take part in an exciting Storytelling workshop called “Sea Urchins. Children will leave after registration and will return in time for lunch. Children should wear School Uniform, sensible shoes and bring a coat. We are asking for a donation towards this subsidised trip of £1.00 per child.

The Christmas Discos for children in KS1 and KS2 will take place on Thursday 15th December; parents will be going around the classes to sell tickets each day between Monday 12th and Thursday 15th December. The cost is £1.00 per ticket. Infant Disco will be 5.30 – 6.30 and Junior Disco 7.0 – 8.00.
